Enrollment Information
The 2010 Fall Session begins on Saturday, August 28 and ends with the Winter Concert in December. There are no rehearsals on Thanksgiving weekend.
The Fall 2010 Session registration and placement begins on Saturday, August 7 from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon. Students will need to bring their instrument and be prepared to play for the KCYJ instructors. The KCYJ staff will place each student into one of four bands. Band placements will be posted on the Website. Parents will be expected to fill out and sign the KCYJ Fall enrollment form and make the tuition payment of $100. The balance of band tuition is due on the first rehearsal (August 28 or 30) after band placement has been determined.
Fall tuition:
Hey Hay Band: $ 245 / semester / Saturdays 11:00 am to 12:30 pm
Sunset Band: $245 / semester / Saturdays 9:30 am to 11:00 pm
Orchid Room Band: $255 / semester / Saturdays 10:00 am to 11:30 am
Reno Band: $265 / semester / Mondays 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. **Students chosen for the Reno Band will be expected to participate through May 8, 2011 due to several performance invitations.
ALL students enrolled in KCYJ will be expected to provide $100 / semester from Business Sponsors. Business Sponsor information and forms can be found here. Sponsorships are due by October 30, 2010. If a family is unable to obtain the sponsorship, the family is responsible for the entire $100.
Combo classes are an additional $165 for the fall session. Students must be enrolled in the band program to participate in combo classes.
